I am passionate about working with you to create bespoke timeless pieces for your home that resonate your unique story.

Inspiration

The initial face-to-face consultation is free of charge. This is an opportunity to chat about the requirements of the piece and discuss ideas and create sketches. Through listening to your story, needs and space comes the inspiration for the piece.

Materials

I work with wild Irish hardwoods for their unique character, quality and exquisite beauty. I believe it is important to be connected to the story of the material, where it has come from, how it grew and reached its end of life.

Design

Influenced by my engineering experience I believe in simplicity, exploration and connection in design. I develop a visual 3D model of the design and a final costing. From this, a decision can then be made to proceed to the build stage of the commission.

Handmade

Each piece is lovingly handmade and finished by myself at the studio with craftsmanship, engineering precision and an attention to detail that makes each piece sing.

Making connections

By weaving the connections of story, material and design together, I try to achieve a resonance in each piece (a bit like composing a song) that can impart a feeling of joy or happiness.
